The BS in Computer Science provides students with an understanding of the key principles and practices of computing and the underlying mathematical and scientific principles. It also provides students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences that enable them to enter the workforce in various fields of computer science and information technology or to pursue graduate studies in computer science. This program follows the standards of the Association of Computing Machinery and IEEE Computer Society.

The Management Information Systems program develops in-depth hands-on knowledge and skills in the application of information technology to problems and opportunities in business and society. This program follows the standards of the Association of Information Technology, Association of Computing Machinery, and the Association for Information systems. The MIS major prepares you to begin a professional career by working with computer-based information systems. The program is well suited for those who enjoy solving problems while working with technology.
